This section describes the basic steps you should follow for proper restoration.

Click the "Restore" button next to the backup of the website you wish to have restored.

You will see a popup with the options to restore the backup fully, restore the Database or the files. So, choose the "Full Restore" option and click Restore.

That's it. You just need to wait for the restoration to be completed.

If your Home page is working, but all other pages throw 404 error after restoration, then go to your WordPress->Settings->Permalinks section and press Save Changes button twice to update permalinks. Do not forget to press the Save Changes button two times, that's important!

If you have a backup file stored on your local PC or one of your cloud storage, e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, so on..., which is not imported yet, first of all you should import them into BackupGuard to be able to restore your archive. If you need detailed information regarding importing your backups, please check the Import section of the articles.
